The Epic Armoury Captain Chainmail is effortless to put on and is comfortable to wear in Larp battle. This flexible mail tunic has hand-stiched leather edging with a series of buckles in the front for a quick fit. The mail covers the body from the shoulder to the thighs and has long sleeves. Each butted ring interlocks with four other rings in a 4-in-1 design. The armpits are reinforced with riveted rings designed to cope with the weight when lifting your arms during combat. This chainmail can easily be worn over a gambeson for more comfort and to prevent bruising in battle.

If you are looking for chainmail with a dash of flamboyance, then consider Epic Armoury's Royal Captain Rivetes Chainmail. This medieval chainmail hauberk comes in several sizes and is all made using flat, riveted steel rings. Round rivets secure the rings into a traditional 4-in-1 pattern for outstanding durability in Larp Combat. The coat of mails falls to around the soldiers mid-thigh and can be opened from the front like a jacket using leather straps and strong buckles. Our long-sleeved chainmail is embellished bt a hand-stitched leather trim along the coat edges, making it a showpiece for historical reenactments, faires, and LARP battles. It is preferable to wear a gambeson beneath this chainmail for comfort and protection as you battle at your next roleplay event.

MAINTENANCE

Note: The Royal Captain Chainmail Shirt is stored oiled. When first using the chain you will need to thoroughly wipe it down with an old cloth to take off the excess oil.
