IMPORTANT - SYSTEM COMPATIBILITY

These 'Epic Armoury Hybrid' weapons have a pommel and crossguard made from polyurethane foam. They are more durable than standard foam and latex, but harder than traditional LARP weapons. The blade of the 'Stronghold' weapons are  made from traditional soft foam and coated with a low-maintenance latex, that is rougher and more durable.

Please bear this in mind and check the safety rules for your LARP system carefully before purchasing. Returns will not be accepted for hybrid weapons that do not pass individual weapons check requirements. These do not pass safety at the Lorien Trust, Curious Pastimes or Profound Decisions events.

However, they are still excellent for cosplay, theatrical and film purposes and any LARP that does not require soft foam on the pommel.

DETAILS

This bestselling Ready For Battle Wing Sword is an adorned medium length sword with distinctive crossguard. The sword is 75 cm long and has a sturdy 60 cm center-ridged blade with excellent balance, making it a great choice for a new warrior of quality looking to display his mettle. The crossguard is large, shaped like two feathered wings extending upwards along the end of the blade, protecting the round split-leather wrapped handle and facetted pommel.

MAINTENANCE

All latex-coated weapons need a certain degree of maintenance. For this we recommend using maintenance silicone, which can be purchased separately in the 'Weapon Maintenance & Repair' section.

'Larp Inn Weapon Lube - Silicone Spray' is an easy, spray-on application, 100% pure and acid-free making it safe to apply. We recommend using silicone on a regular basis. It maintains the latex-coat’s flexibility and prevents it from drying out, keeping the product wear and tear resistant.

Store your latex weapons flat or on its pommel - NEVER on its tip. Use a simple sheet or towel lining to prevent it from touching a plastic or rubber surface to prevent your weapon from adhering to other products. Keep your weapons in a cool, dry environment.
