Warhammer 40,000 - Telford, Shropshire, West Midlands

In 2018 we opened our very own Games Room above our LARP shop where we began to sell and play games. It’s always been our dream to have somewhere to play Dungeons and Dragons in comfort with space for everyone around the table. This was the inspiration behind ‘Game Inn’; however, that dream has expanded to accomadate space for a large number of wargames - particulalry Warhammer 40,000, Necromunda, Warcry and Warhammer Age of Sigmar.

Now, we've been very fortunate to become the base for a friendly community of hobbyists who share their love of gaming and play together, hosting their own wargame campaigns and encourage all levels of experience.

GAMES WORKSHOP PRODUCTS

We're a registered stockist with Games Workshop which means we keep a large selection of their best-selling Warhammer 40,000 products in at all times. However, we have a personal interest in stocking smaller games. So, we try to have a good selection of Legion Imperialis, War Cry and Necromunda products in stock too. You'll also find a smattering Age of Sigmar, Horus Heresy and Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game miniatures on the shelves too.

However, our friendly gaming community know that they can come to us to get pretty much everything Games Workshop - at a discount. If there's a pre-order due for release, getting in touch by phone or in store a few weeks before release allows us to secure high-demand products that are easy to miss out on.

MINIATURE PAINTS

We stock a vast range of Citadel and Army Painter model paints, the Colour Forge aerosol range and a smaller selection of Vallejo air paints.

TERRAIN, SCENERY AND HOBBY TOOLS

For those extra bits and bobs which make modelling fun and your tables look fantastic, we keep the Citadel basic lines in stock at all times and have access to the entire Games Workshop catalogue on order. However. our most extensive range is Army Painter, with their static grass, tufts and entire range of tools, from tape measures to green stuff, in stock.

OTHER GAMES

We ususally have a large range of Kings of War and Mantic products in stock, particulalry their terrain crates. We keep lots of minaitures for Dungeons & Dragons, with options from the Wizkids Nolzurs range, Reaper Miniatures and a 3D printing service. Alongside D&D rule books and dice, we also have some options for Cthulhu, Pathfinder and Cyberpunk.

EXTRA INTERESTING THINGS

We have a selection of snacks on hand for those players who are fuelled best by tasty treats - drinks, chocolate, crisps and cookies!

But first and foremost, we are a LARP store. So, we always have lots of LARP, cosplay and costume goodies available to browse.

PLAYING SPACE

We have two games rooms, with three 6' x 4' for regular use whenever we're open. Gaming at Larp Inn costs £5 per person, and that includes as many games as you want to play. Generally, we ask people to call ahead to book, avoiding dissapointment and ensuring we can set up the play area appropriatly.

Why come here? We have nice terrain. We claim it's for our customers, but it's probably Jamie's unhealthy addiction with buying tiny plastic walkways.
