Larp Con is a fantastic event held at the Hermitage Leisure Centre; catering for LARP, Steampunk and Cosplay enthusiasts, and growing every year. The weekend boasts a whole range of activities to get involved with as well as an extensive Kit Fair.
Larp Con is always a brilliant place to meet other LARP and gaming enthusisasts. Many attendees dress up in costume, and the atmosphere is alive with excitement towards the hobby. Some Larp Con events have stands for all the major LARP systems in the UK, and lots of smaller games too. You can talk to the organisers and other players about their expeirences and how to get involved.
For seasoned LARPERS, Larp Con hosts a huge selection of crafters and costume producers. The fair showcases the very best of hand-made bespoke kit, and is an ideal place to pick up cheaper mass-produced costume as well, ideal for new LARPERS. If there is something custom you want made, you'll find someone there who can make it.
We can't pack everything from our warehouse into the van, nor can we display everything we sell. However, we try to bring a healthy display of our most popular and exciting products.
Here is what we typically bring:
All our latex weapons, scabbards, a selection of replica guns and arrows.
Many, many pouches, bags, quivers and belts.
A selection of armour, including our new range of hand painted bracers and greaves.
The essential prosthetics, face paint and application-based equipment.
Clothing; this year we have chosen a selection of ‘Larp Inn tested and approved’ clothing items to be our main brands.
The usual Magic the Gathering Cards, small board games, smutty card games, dice and tit-bits.
If you’re looking for anything specific please let us know in advance.
The Larp Con held in early March is typically host to the UK LARP Awards, where games, organisers, costume producers and photographers are all aknowledged for their contribution to the hobby.
